Well, I got a serious case of the hiccups, like, 50 seconds after my friends left and they WOULDN'T GO AWAY! I called Jill at about 4 or so, and I was going to tell her about my epic case of, erm, hiccups, but her mom was using the phone so I just had to sit there and look like a moron while laughing at myself on my own. They went away for a while, but came back at around 4:30 and so I finally decided that SOMETHING MUST BE DONE about this.

So I decided to check out something that my teacher had told me the last week of school. She had said that to get rid of hiccups, you should drink upside down - as it resets the diaphragm or something like that. So I did.

And, well, it worked...but my mom kept giving me weird looks and said that drinking while sitting upside down on the couch was going to make me choke or something - I don't know, I didn't really listen.

Anyway, thought that was interesting...for some reason.

Lesson for today?

DRINK UPSIDE DOWN TO AVOID HICCUPS!!!
